1. Scope
This policy governs all text communications sent by Joliez Agency Inc., including
SMS (text-only) and MMS (text with media). It applies to account verification messages,
service notifications, and promotional/casting communications.
2. Message Categories
- Transactional/Security: OTP codes, account safety notices, fraud alerts, and service-critical updates.
- Operational: onboarding reminders, schedule updates, and account-completion notices.
- Promotional: casting calls, announcements, and optional opportunity alerts.
Promotional messages are sent only to users with documented opt-in consent.
3. Consent and Opt-In Standards
- We collect affirmative consent before sending promotional SMS/MMS campaigns.
- Consent records include at least timestamp, source channel, and the phone number provided.
- Carrier message and data rates may apply, based on user plan and destination carrier.
- Consent is not required for security messages needed to protect account integrity.
4. Keyword Commands and Subscriber Controls
We support standard opt-out and help controls. Users may text:
- Join/Rejoin: JOLIEZ, START, YES, UNSTOP
- Help: HELP, INFO
- Stop: STOP, STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, QUIT
Stop requests are honored as soon as technically feasible and numbers are suppressed from
non-security campaign sends.
5. MMS and Media Requirements
- MMS media must be lawful, brand-safe, and rights-cleared for distribution.
- Media URLs must be served over HTTPS and remain available during send windows.
- Large media files may be compressed by carrier networks; compatibility varies by device and carrier.
- Content that targets or depicts minors must comply with applicable consent and safety laws.
6. Frequency, Quiet Hours, and Fair Use
- We limit messaging frequency to operationally reasonable levels and avoid spam-like patterns.
- Campaigns should be scheduled with recipient local-time sensitivity where practical.
- We may rate-limit sends to protect deliverability and comply with carrier throughput rules.
7. Data Retention and Auditability
Messaging metadata (for example: message ID, status, destination mask, timestamp, and keyword events)
may be retained for compliance, fraud prevention, and incident response per our
Data Retention schedule.
We do not sell mobile numbers for third-party marketing use. Handling of personal information is described in
our Privacy Notice.
