Twilio SMS Service — Terms of Service

1. Service Description

Joliez Agency provides SMS messaging services powered by Twilio to deliver One-Time Passwords (OTPs), notifications, alerts, and promotional messages related to the Joliez Agency portal, bookings, castings, imports, and emergency communications. These services are subject to these terms and Twilio's policies.

2. Message Types

You may receive the following types of messages:

Authentication (Mandatory): One-Time Passwords (OTPs) and verification codes for account security
Transactional (Mandatory): Portal alerts, booking status updates, casting opportunities, and import notifications
Emergency (Mandatory): Urgent security or service disruption alerts affecting your account or opportunities
Promotional (Optional): News, events, and exclusive opportunities from Joliez Agency (opt-in only)

3. Opt-In & Opt-Out

Authentication & Transactional: Required for portal access. Cannot be disabled. Message and data rates may apply.
Promotional Messages: You may opt-in during signup or manage preferences in your account settings. You may opt out at any time.
To opt out of promotional messages: Reply STOP to any SMS message from Joliez Agency. To get help: Reply HELP.
To opt out of all SMS (except authentication): Contact support at contactus@joliezagency.com

4. Message & Data Rates

Message and data rates from your mobile carrier may apply to all SMS messages
Joliez Agency is not responsible for carrier charges
Standard message and data rates apply to incoming and outgoing messages
Your carrier may impose additional charges based on your mobile plan

5. Supported Carriers & Devices

SMS services are provided via Twilio and work with most U.S. carriers
Supported carriers include AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, Sprint, and regional carriers
International SMS may not be available; U.S. phone numbers are required for full functionality
We cannot guarantee message delivery to all devices or carriers

6. Message Delivery & Timing

We make reasonable efforts to deliver messages promptly, typically within seconds
Delivery times depend on carrier networks and may vary
Authentication and emergency messages are prioritized
Joliez Agency is not liable for delays, non-delivery, or carrier routing errors

7. Privacy & Data Security

Your phone number and SMS content are protected under our Privacy Policy and Twilio's privacy terms
We do not share your phone number with third parties except as required by law
All SMS communications are subject to Twilio's security standards and compliance certifications

8. Two-Way Messaging

Reply STOP: Unsubscribe from promotional SMS
Reply HELP: Receive help information and contact details
Replies to automated messages should use only STOP or HELP commands
Other replies may not receive immediate responses and standard rates apply

9. Prohibited Use

You may not:

Share your authentication codes with unauthorized third parties
Use SMS services for illegal purposes or spam
Attempt to circumvent authentication or security measures
Resell or redistribute SMS services
Use the service to harass or harm others

10. Liability Limitations

Joliez Agency and Twilio are not responsible for unauthorized access to your account resulting from shared authentication codes
We are not liable for delayed or failed message delivery caused by carrier issues
We are not responsible for damages resulting from service interruptions or technical failures beyond our reasonable control
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your phone number and authentication codes

11. Account Suspension

Joliez Agency may suspend SMS services to your account if you:

Violate these terms or Joliez Agency's acceptable use policy
Report multiple fraudulent messages without legitimate cause
Violate applicable laws or regulations
Use services in violation of carrier regulations

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of SMS services constitutes acceptance of updated terms. Major changes will be notified via email or SMS.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflicts of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in California.

15. Acknowledgment

By providing your phone number and consenting to SMS services, you acknowledge that:

You own or control the phone number provided
You understand message and data rates may apply
You have read and agree to these Terms of Service
You have read and agree to our Twilio Privacy Policy
You consent to receive SMS messages as described above
